Job Postings

In a recent Labour Management meeting, a process was established for communicating to the bargaining unit if there is a vacancy to be posted.

Please note: It was decided when a vacancy is created and job posting is listed online via Connect to apply – the Hiring Manager will notify all CUPE staff via email.

Steps to be taken:

  • Manager Posts job via HR
  • Manager Emails out to the entire group that is has been posted – example a day shift custodial residence posting has gone up – reference competition # 0000.
  • LHs from there are then to communicate to group in morning meeting an email has gone out
  • If a team member wants to fill out a paper application, this can be obtained by asking for a paper from HR or via your LH
  • Applicant then needs to go to HR and submit the paper work OR apply on line
